Our prompt library template is where you can keep and build your best prompt examples. It’s a simple spreadsheet (not fancy, but practical) where we’ve included all the prompts used in this course to get you started. Copy, paste, and adapt them for your own work — tweak wording, adjust context, or add new ideas as you learn what works best.
Keeping a prompt library means you won’t need to start from scratch each time. It’s a space to store, improve, and reuse prompts that deliver great results. Over time, you’ll build your own reliable collection — ready for everyday tasks, team sharing, or future experiments.
The Perfect Prompt
Crafting the right prompt is key to getting the best results from AI. Our recipe for ‘The Perfect Prompt’ provides a structured approach to writing prompts that are clear, effective, and well-structured.
Using this recipe you’ll have a clear framework to craft well-structured prompts that deliver more accurate and relevant AI responses.
Set the Context
Create one (or many) Context Packs...
Setting the right context is one of the most important factors in crafting effective AI prompts. So, we introduce context packs—structured documents that guide AI models to produce more relevant, aligned, and high-quality responses.
You can have one or many, they can be task or persona specific. Some people have a library of context documents!
This is a task you can do on your own or as a team and will simplify your prompt writing right away.
Don’t do things the hard way, save your context!
Set your Custom Instructions & Banned List
Setting your Custom Instructions makes sure that your CORE instructions are always followed. These are global context settings, not task or persona specific so be mindful about how strict you are.
Here’s mine to borrow:

Additionally, a penalty of £1000 will be imposed for each word from the specific banned list.
